Search for Innovation

We have a highly specialized Regulatory and RD&I (Research, Development and Innovation) area that continuously seeks innovations in herbal medicine.

The close relationship between Science and Technology Institutions (ICTs) and Herbarium is critical to producing excellent results that will benefit our consumers and communities involved. And for these reasons, we created the PHI – Herbarium Innovation Program.

Scientific involvement coupled with the true connection with the natural world.

Moved by science and nature.

We have a highly specialized Regulatory and RD&I (Research, Development and Innovation) area that continuously seeks innovations in herbal medicine.

The close relationship between Science and Technology Institutions (ICTs) and Herbarium is critical to produce excellent results that will benefit our consumers and communities involved.

With these partnerships in mind, we provide a direct channel for interested parties to register their proposals and ideas, which will be evaluated and discussed by an internal innovation committee. Areas of interest are: medicinal plants, especially Brazilian ones, and their derivatives that can be used for the development of products: food, drugs, cosmetics and veterinarian products.

A successful example of the PHI – Herbarium Innovation Program was the partnership between Herbarium and Universities to create Immunomax, the first Brazilian herbal medicine for the treatment of herpes based on an Amazonian plant (Uncaria tomentosa).

With over 20 years of experience in innovative projects, PHI – Herbarium Innovation Program – is our main gateway to new proposals.
