Borago officinalis | Annual plant belonging to the family of Borraginaceae with a height that oscillates between 30 and 60 centimeters and whose large stalk and branch give off large leaves of oval shape. The flowers are bright blue or whitish, wide open and starry in appearance from early summer to mid fall. The fruits are hard tetramens. A feature of this plant is that it is covered with rough hair. It originates from the Mediterranean countries, from where it spread to the rest of Europe, passing through Spain.¹, ², ³
