Tribulus terrestris | The plant comes from Southern Europe, probably from Bulgaria, but today we can find it in all regions. It blooms in spring and summer, and grows easily on all types of ground, and is often considered an invasive plant.¹ Because of the ease with which thorns adhere to fruit, the plant has been called Tribulus which means “persecuted.” It is a perennial creeping herbaceous plant that can behave as an annual plant in colder climates.², ³
